This June, you can get the chance to experience where and how the world's happiest people spend their summer holidays. You may find your state of happiness this June in Finnish Lakeland, the coolest lake region in the world. This trip is part of Visit Finland's Chill like a Finn campaign

During this journey you will experience most of the key elements of Finnish happiness - breathtaking national landscapes, distinctive cuisine full of pure ingredients,  Lakeland's authentic lifestyle and culture, and of course, crucial Finnish ancient institution - sauna in many various forms.

Arrival to Finland with Finnair Paris-CDG flight, connecting in Helsinki-Vantaa airport for domestic flight Helsinki-Kuopio

10:50 – 14:40 CDG – HEL 

16:15-17:15 HEL-KUO 

17:30 Meeting at the Kuopio airport with local host and transfer by bus Tahko 

18:30 Arrival at Suites Green, check-in 

19.30 Dinner at  SooSoo Restaurant

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tuesday 2nd June, 2026

9:00 Breakfast at the Tahko Spa Hotel

10:30 eFatbike tour through the forests of Tahko 

Lunch outdoors by the campfire along the way. (Tour ends at the top of the Tahko Hill)

14:00 Zipline Experience back to the village 

14:30 Walk back to the hotel

16:00 Relaxing joga and spa moment at Break Sokos Hotel Tahko

19:00 Dinner at  Hillside Restaurant

Drinks at Hophouse, tasting of local distillery products

 

Wednesday 3rd June, 2026

8:00 Breakfast at the Tahko Spa Hotel

9:00 Transfer from Tahko to Kuopio

10:00 Visit to Puijo Tower, virtual ski jumping challenge, hiking and coffee break at  Konttila Farm

13:00 Sauna and relaxing lake swim at Saana ( traditional Finnish sauna treatments )

14:30 Lunch and lake cruise on board M/S Queen R

16:00 Transfer from Kuopio to Kuvansi with minibus

17:00 Visit Free Finns Ranch in Heinäaho, Kuvansi - a farm visit or horse riding lesson. 

18:30 Departure for Oravi Village and Kanava Resort.

19:45 Check-in Kanava Resort

Tour of the grounds

15.30  Departure for Astuvansalmi Rock Paintings excursion

16.15  RIB Saimaa boat cruise from Ristiina to Astuvansalmi 
16.40  Visiting the rock paintings with a local guide
